Below is a collection of photographs detailing a wonderfully assembled model of a Mustang P51D Halinski. This detailed and intricate model is in 1:32 scale, allowing for enough detail to be applied to the parts comprising the model, and allowing me enough space to add the small touches that allow the model a great deal of realism in its presentation.
The hobby of assembling and painting model planes is still ongoing, and still sits alongside fishing, skiing and newer hobbies like online bingo and blogging. It is an intricate and skillfull form of art that endures to this day, and the photos below are an example of how good model planes can look when enough time and care is taken over their construction and decoration.
